Rebecca Harary can be described as a serial entrepreneur with a very big heart. In addition to being a ground-breaking event planner in New York City for more than 10 years, Rebecca Harary has started several not-for-profit organizations, each of which is thriving today. These organizations include The Imagine Academy for Autism, Yeshiva Prep HS for students with mild learning challenges, Moise Safra Community Center in NYC, Propel Network for women entering the workforce, and more. Rebecca is a graduate of Columbia University with a Master’s Degree in Business and Nonprofit Management.
By 2016, Rebecca set her sights on correcting some of the quality-of-life issues she was witnessing while living in NYC. The city was in a downward spiral. Rebecca decided to run for office in Manhattan; first for NYS Assembly, and then for NYC Council in 2018 on NYC’s Upper East Side.
Always a dealmaker, when then-Presidential Candidate Donald J. Trump campaigned during the 2016 primaries in NYC, Rebecca realized that she lived in the same voting district as Candidate Trump. When they met at a mutual friend’s event, Candidate Rebecca Harary and Candidate Donald Trump made a deal - since they both would be appearing on the same ballot, they would vote for each other!
In addition to a vote from President Trump, Rebecca received endorsements from the NY Post, NY Governor George Pataki, NYS Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis (now U.S. Congresswoman), several NYC Councilmen, Steve Forbes, Larry Kudlow, the NYC Police Department SBA, and several others. She received more votes than any other Republican Candidate in her district in more than 16 years and was honored by the Manhattan Republican Club for her strength and leadership.
Rebecca remains active in politics and in the not-for-profit organizations she founded. She is also the Founder and President of CASEPAC, a political action committee for Combatting Anti-Semitism Everywhere. Every candidate endorsed by CASEPAC was elected to office.
Married for 39 years, Rebecca and her husband Joe raised 6 children in New York and are now enjoying all their grandchildren. As native Floridians, they returned in May 2021 to their home state, and made Boca Raton their primary residence. Rebecca founded America First Club with Lauren Malis during the Spring of 2022.
Lauren Malis is a conduit. She has years of experience in the areas of brand strategy, public relations, governmental relations, business development, investor relations, events, and marketing. During and after college, Lauren worked at ESPN and The William Morris Agency. While building relationships with her clients, Lauren got involved in politics and political campaigns. She was tapped to work with US Senator D’Amato of NY, and then worked on a successful NYS Governor’s campaign, becoming the Director of Communications and Special Projects for the Economic Development Agency. At the Empire State Development Corp. under the leadership of Ambassador Charles Gargano, she handled communications, protocol for the agency, and many projects – including The Revitalization of 42nd Street and Times Square, The Hudson River Park Conservancy, the iconic I Love NY Campaign, and more. She also worked on The Tribeca Film Festival, Fashion Week, ExportNY and the UN 50th Anniversary, where she was a featured speaker across the state. Lauren served as the Senior Advisor to the Chairman on many issues, including UN Relations and American-Indian Affairs, and was an advisor for The Port Authority. Lauren played a key role for crisis communications daily, and at a heightened level after 9/11. She helped individuals and companies with crisis management as an ongoing service.
After three terms, Lauren founded a private consulting practice, The Luxe Group. She has concentrated on wellness brands, resorts and spas, health institutes, wellness tech, and wellness and health nonprofits. With a true passion in this area, Lauren went on to study at The Institute of Integrative Nutrition, earning her health certificate in Integrative Nutrition. She is now working on her Doctorate in Ayurvedic and Indigenous Medicine.
Lauren works with a variety of wellness and sustainable companies, including the world-famous Hippocrates Health Institute, Israel Cancer Association USA, The Verthermia Foundation, Atmofizer, and more. She is a Co-founder of The Vibe Bar – a selection of wellness pop-ups that have a concentration on prevention, immunity, brain health, and well-being.
Lauren continues to work and strategize for many campaigns on the local, state, and federal levels.
She currently sits on the Board of Weedoo Green Boats and HealthCorps, founded by U.S Senate Republican candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz, and is now the Co-President of America First Club!
